Customer Reviews
Customer Review: “The only negative things I can say about these earbuds are: The way they plug in to the charging case is kind of weird and doesn’t seem very secure, and the battery life is not the greatest, 6-8hrs at most with noise cancellation off. Everything else is pretty much amazing across the board. The Noise Cancellation is VERY solid. The ability to connect to two devices at once & switch between them via the app is pretty great. The tap controls are easier to use compared to the older Bose Earbuds I have, these only require one tap to play/pause, the old ones it was double tap. Switching Noise modes is a simple long press, next track/restart track are also tap functions which you can find in the instructions. Volume control is what you would expect, swipe one way for up, the other way for down. The build quality of the Earbuds themselves is good. They fit pretty snug with the default rubber-pieces that came on them for me, which is good because that aides in the noise cancellation/sound dampening even when you don’t have the Active feature turned on. The sound quality on these things is AMAZING. This & the ANC is what you should be buying these for, superior sound & great noise cancelling tech. Are they worth the price? That’s really subjective, as to how much of a music/audio snob you are. In my case, I have noticed that there are parts in several songs I’ve listened to for over a year, that I’m hearing notes or instrumentation clearly that was muddled or almost not even present on other sound devices. It really is that good.”
Customer Review: “I went back and forth for about a week when considering these, researching and comparing everything I could think of. I was trying to justify spending three hundred dolars for some earbuds. Well, they offered a tomorrow delivery and I rolled the dice. SO glad I did. They were ordered after midnight on Tues/Wed am, and arrived mid day Thursday. In fact, UPS sent an update that the original by 5:30 delivery would be by 2:30. At 1:30 the package was on the porch. Now let me tell you why I needed these. It wasn’t for great sounding music or videos (which they do sound amazing). It was for the ANC technology. And let me tell you IT WORKS (I had the idea for this like 17 years ago but the tech wasn’tavailable). Anyway, I HAD a major issue with noise campaigns at all times. Super loud modified welding trucks idling for up to 2hours at a time every morning from 5 to 7 am. Other loud ram trucks revving starting and stopping at all hours (DEALER) and crappy little cars missing exhaust caps or something, and inconsiderate TPT booming home and car stereos at all hours of the night an day randomly. Not to mention TWEAKERS mething around the yards and repetitively slamming car doors and trunks and yelling at each other in the wee hours. Earplugs didn’t work. Sound machines didn’t work. Asking didn’t work, and the landlord would do very little or nothing about it. Considered professional soundproofing (like a studio room) which would have cost thousands of dollars to be effective, and also considered subject elimination. Not being keen to the idea of a life sentence, I went with $300 earbuds. I am hear to tell you I could not be happier. This technology is not from this world. Have you ever tried to eliminate low frequency noise pollution? It’s a near impossible never win battle…UNTIL NOW. I can hear my surroundings like someone talking in the room, or my alarm, but no longer can I hear anything else. No traffic. No music. No banging. No slamming doors. NOTHING. Just peaceful quiet. Silent Lucidity of sorts. Complete rest in less time. Joy. Even the hum of road noise and traffic are oblitterated while driving. It’s like I spent $1500 on quet EV tires! Phone calls sound like you’re in a recording studio and the other person is talking to you through the soundproof glass on a microphone. Music sounds immersive without ANY ambient noise pollution. No people. No screaming kids. No dogs barking. No office buzz. Just QUIET. The best thing is it’s not a complete shut which could be dangerous because I can choose what sounds I want to be aware of! And my cameras send immediatee alerts right to me if anyone gets close to my property or personal space. And if they get past that point, well Texas is a stand your ground and protect your person and property state, so Mr. SIG my personal body guard and security system is always on the ready. I call the system FAFO SECURITY. So, if you desire peace and quiet or need to make noise campaigns obsolete, then do not hesitate to get these earbuds. They are practically weightless, very snug/secure and comfortable. Even while running or working out (and sleeping). And glasses or sunglasses go on and off with ease and no interferance. It’s like having a frequency equalizer/canceler right in your ears!!! BOSE nailed the name on these “QUIET COMFORT ULTRA”. And don’t fall for the 1/2 price trick that they will tempt you with in the algorithm to just get the Gen 1 buds. They’re 1/2 price because they can’t sell them and they’re easily half the product and quality. There were too many bugs, issues, hissing, connectivity problems and inferior ANC technological issues in the first attempt. And I didn’t find that information video in the search results until AFTER I received the superior product. GEN2 is the best $300 ever spent (well besides my personal security system). ZERO remorse or buyer’s guilt. GET THEM!!! BOSE did not pay me for this review (and neither did the seller who was super fast with shipping…nor UPS, which was lightning speed with delivery), but perhaps they should all seriously consider it HAHAHA!”

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: “This product is perfect for travel. Pairing it with my AirPods Pro was ridiculously simple, turn it on, press the button, and it connects without any fuss, and the audio stays clear with no noticeable delay, even when watching movies on in-flight screens. The battery life is honestly the best part; it really does last over 20 hours, and I’ve gone through multiple flights and workouts before needing to recharge. It’s lightweight, easy to throw into a travel pouch, and feels sturdier than I expected for its size. The only thing I wish it had was dual-headphone pairing like the higher-end model, but for the price, the reliability and sound quality make it absolutely worth it. If you use wireless headphones and travel even occasionally, this little device makes the whole experience a lot better.”
Customer Review: “I’ve been using this for years. It takes up almost no space in my electronics bag. It connects to airpods easily. I can even walk up and down the aisles while listening to the movie. Recharge at your destination and its ready to go!”

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: “I wasn’t totally sure what to expect with these headphones, but I’ve been pleasantly surprised and really happy with them so far. The sound is clear and balanced — nothing muffled, distorted, or tinny. I can throw on music, podcasts, or TV shows and everything comes through clean. I like that I didn’t have to mess with EQ settings or install any special app tweaks to make them sound decent. They just work right out of the box, which I really appreciate because I don’t want to spend an hour tinkering every time I buy a new pair. I’m not an audiophile by any means, I just want headphones that sound good and reliable, and these check that box. Comfort has also been solid. I work from home and end up wearing headphones for long stretches during the day, so this was an important factor for me. These have been easy to wear for hours at a time without sore spots or pressure headaches. The earbuds are adjustable and come with different size options if the standard fit doesn’t work for you, which is a nice touch. Once you swap them to the right size, they sit comfortably and don’t feel scratchy or irritating. I also wear glasses, and I was worried they might press weirdly against the frames, but I haven’t had any issues. The fit feels snug enough that I can walk around without them shifting or slipping. The noise canceling has worked well for my needs. It’s not like the world vanishes into total silence, but it definitely reduces the constant hum of appliances, air conditioning, or outdoor traffic. Those background sounds fade out enough that I can focus better on what I’m listening to. Louder, more sudden noises — like a door slamming or someone talking right next to me — still come through, but they’re less distracting than they would be without the headphones. For day-to-day use, the level of noise canceling is more than enough. One thing I was really curious about before buying was the waterproof rating. I don’t usually wear headphones in the shower, but I decided to put these to the test just to see if they lived up to the claim. I’ve used them several times while showering now, and they’ve held up perfectly. No glitches, no distortion, no sign of water damage — they still work like new. Obviously I wouldn’t try dunking them in a pool, but it’s nice to know they can handle steam, splashes, and probably a surprise rainstorm if I’m outside. Just having that peace of mind makes them more useful in everyday life. Another thing worth mentioning is the lifetime warranty. That’s not something you see on a lot of electronics, and it honestly gave me extra confidence in the purchase. Even though I haven’t had to use it, knowing the company is backing up their product long-term makes me feel like I’m not just buying something disposable. It’s a nice reassurance that if anything goes wrong down the line, I’m covered. If I had to point out any downsides, the carrying case is a little bulkier than I’d prefer. It does the job and protects the headphones, but it’s not super convenient if you’re trying to travel light or pack everything into a smaller bag. The app is also pretty basic. It works, but don’t expect a ton of features or customization. Another small thing I’ve noticed: the buttons can be a little fiddly at first, and I’ve accidentally brushed the touch controls when adjusting them, which can pause or skip tracks. Not a huge deal, but worth noting. Overall, though, these headphones have been a great buy. They sound good, they’re comfortable enough for long sessions, the noise canceling makes a noticeable difference, the waterproof rating isn’t just marketing fluff, and the lifetime warranty is a big bonus. Even with the small quirks like the bulky case or the picky controls, I still think they’re well worth it. They do exactly what I wanted them to do, and they do it well. For me, that’s an easy 5 stars.”
Customer Review: “I’m very happy with these earbuds. The sound quality is clear and the noise cancelling works really well. They are comfortable to wear for long periods and the battery lasts a long time. Pairing with my phone was quick and easy. For the price, they are an excellent value. I definitely recommend them!”

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: “I’ve had another pair of TOZO earbuds and enjoyed them, so thought I’d try these with noise cancellation. Firstly the noise cancellation works well, not as much as a set of BOSE cut come on these are a fraction of the price. But let’s get to the star of the show. The sound of these are fantastic, especially at the price point. At first I just connected them with Bluetooth and listened to them. It was ok but not great. Then I did what the company said to do and installed their app. GAME CHANGER. It did something to the bass curve immediately. Then there are several equalizer curves suited to different tastes, or you can roll your own and adjust it to your taste and save it. The bass is solid, and the highs are crisp. My love is acoustic guitar, and the mid range where that lives is very dynamic in these earbuds.”
Customer Review: “So here I am ready to write up this fine review. I actually ordered these around black Friday in 2021, ordered 2 pairs for myself assuming I, or my son would lose an ear-bud. I bought a 3rd pair for my father-in-law. I spent a total of $98 for 3 pairs. I’m a big fan of podcasts and use these daily while working IT. The earbuds are comfortable and have survived all sorts of adventures including some accidental exposure to acid and mud! They still work great and sound quality is excellent. Highly recommend the TOZO NC2s for everyday use and travel.”

Customer Review: “This the second time I purchased this product. My old ones (lasted 9 yrs) could not hold a charge. I use these for travel and sometimes office meetings on my laptop. Great sound and speech quality. The noise cancellation is amazing. For planes I don’t like to constantly sync my bluetooth headphones, so having a wired connection is great.”
Customer Review: “I rally like the in-ear soft hold of these earphones. By far preferred to the ear pods or over the ear head phones. Perfect for flights. I finally can sleep with these on during international flights when I can forgot work. Second set that I buy from Bose: work perfectly, sound great and I hover the sound quality. Battery life is excellent too. The punch just goes on a side pocket of my backpacks and given that it comes with the USB charger, it is great for charging and listening at the same time even on the go.”

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: “Great sound and really blocks noise. I’m not crazy about the stiff neck piece but they’re all like that. What I love is the magnets on the earpieces. When they are together, they drop the Bluetooth on your phone, but when you pull them apart to use them, they resync. That’s huge. Otherwise it will override other things your phone is synced to. Also, the microphone seems to be good and it has a long battery life too.”
Customer Review: “Very good headphones for the price. They connect quickly, the sound is clear and the battery lasts for hours and hours. Noise cancellation helps a lot in calls. Comfortable and light. Successful purchase.”

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: “I’ve used these ear plugs only for one night, so take this review with that caveat. I’ve been using Loop Quiet 2 earplugs for nighttime usage and found they became uncomfortable in the middle of the night and one would occasionally even pop out. At $20/pair, I really don’t want to be losing those things. When I saw these Jayine ear plugs, I thought, okay this is some cheap knockoff of the Loops and probably fit even less well. I figured at $7ish per pair, it was worth a try. Lo and behold, they fit very solidly in my ear canal. I thought they would hurt as the night wore on, but nope. When I awoke at 6am, the Jayines were still securely in my ears, blocking noise with no pain. Time will tell how these hold up over time, but I say give these a shot if you need ear plugs. They come with four sizes of ear pads (XS, S, M, L) just like the Loops do. Nice selection of colors too!”
Customer Review: “Summary: If you’re looking for earplugs that block out all noise, THESE ARE NOT THEM. But, if you’re only looking to mute the sound enough to make it bearable, these are perfect! First, I bought these because I was looking at the expensive trending version of them, and decided that $8.99 (on sale) was more than worth spending before I dropped $40-something on the expensive ones. However, after using these for two months, I will be using them exclusively! Notes: The case is difficult to open with even my short acrylics, but that’s not the end of the world. These are comfy enough that I was able to sleep without them being a bother in my ears! They do not block out all noise, only quiet it. For my use (snoring, construction, and on one occasion a 2am card game), the earplugs muted these noises enough for me to be able to fall asleep with ease. They do not hold up to being chewed by a black lab. I wasn’t expecting them to, but I got used to keeping them on my nightstand out of the case which was unfortunately within her reach. I will be buying these again!”
Complete Buying Guide for Best Noise Cancelling Earbuds For Airplane Travel
Essential Factors We Consider
When choosing the best noise cancelling earbuds for airplane travel, several factors come into play. Noise cancellation quality is key to block out engine hum and chatter. Comfort is vital since you may wear them for hours. Battery life should last through long flights without frequent charging. Wireless connectivity ensures hassle-free use, but wired options can be more reliable. Durability and water resistance add value for travel conditions. Finally, sound quality matters if you want to enjoy music or movies on the plane.
Budget Planning
Noise cancelling earbuds come in a range of prices. Premium models like Bose offer superior ANC and sound but come at a higher cost. Budget options like silicone ear plugs or basic ANC earbuds provide noise reduction without breaking the bank. Consider how often you travel and your noise cancelling needs to balance price and performance. Accessories like wireless transmitters for airplane entertainment can add value without buying new earbuds.
Final Thoughts
Investing in the right noise cancelling earbuds can transform your airplane travel experience, helping you relax, sleep, or focus. Prioritize comfort and noise cancellation, and choose a product that fits your budget and usage style. Whether you opt for high-end wireless earbuds or simple silicone plugs, the peace and quiet during your flight will be worth it.
