Customer Reviews
Customer Review: Great for storing my laptop and other laptop accessories. I like that is has a number of different compartments. I usually bring my laptop, keyboard and mouse with me. Also has plenty of room for the power adapter. Its very sturdy, but also heavy. Personally, I dont mind that.
Customer Review: Probably the best laptop backpack I’ve ever had. The backpack is spacious, has enough storage for all electronics and other handy emergency accessories such as but not limited to first aid kit, couple of water bottles up to at least 4-5” diameter, holds a laptop that’s 17” perfectly and includes a pouch for tablet up to 8”, the straps are adjustable for comfort between different sized adults (5’3” to 6’1”) and most importantly the color. Love the black and white combination with the white sections being reflective helps while wearing it and walking in the dark. The front two pockets have lots of space for smaller items such as notepads, pens, passport and other small stationery items. Overall, 5 stars isn’t an exaggeration but very well deserved for such a backpack that adds lot of value for the price. Customer Review: I’ve been looking at this book bag on and off for a while, and after buying way too many backpacks over the last couple of years that never quite worked out, this one finally gets it right. It’s big enough to hold real stuff — including large water bottles (not the tiny, decorative kind). The inside has a bunch of hidden pockets that are surprisingly spacious, plus smaller, low-key pockets for things you want easy access to without advertising where everything is.The design is super sleek, and the bag actually keeps its shape. No collapsing, no weird sagging, no “why does this look nothing like the photos?” moments. It holds its form exactly like the pictures, even when it’s packed.Overall, it’s functional, comfortable, and looks good doing it. Easily one of the best book bags I’ve owned — and definitely the first one that didn’t end up abandoned in a closet.

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: I originally ordered 5 other bags in an attempt to save some money. I returned 4 immediately and the 5th one after use on one trip because arriving was coming apart in multiple places.I decided to just get a Wenger bag because I’m familiar with their quality. Luckily picked this up used for about half price however after seeing it compared to all the others I ordered, it’s well worth full price. It checks all the boxes with the external USB port, sternum strap, elevated laptop section for max protection, TSA/scansmart feature, bottle holder and large main storage area. Someone in another review said the shoe compartment was very small but this is not true (I was actually able to fit 2 pairs of size 11 Hey Dudes in it).For a test of it’s capacity I packed it up as of I was going for a weekend trip. Below is everything I fit in it…TSA section – Laptop, charger, wireless mouse, network cableSunglass/Quick Access pocket – spare battery pack, tic tacs, ear buds, ear plugsMain section – 2 tee shirts, 2 pairs of shorts/socks/underwear, very large battery pack connected to the external USB port, charging cables.Shoe compartment – I don’t often travel with extra shoes so I used this for my shave bag which includes all the typical stuff including a head shaver and an electric razor. This way, I could have access to it without needing to unpack the clothes on top of it.Organizer pocket – pens, lens cleaner clothes, business cards, hand sanitizer. Still had a lot of room available.Front pocket – this is the one with the vertical zipper. I didn’t put anything in it but it works be perfect for snacks.I had all this packet up and I weighed it to be about 17 lbs. I wore it around for about 15 minutes and it was extremely comfortable. I could feel the elastic in the chest strap and the suspension feature in the shoulder straps doing their job. Had zero shoulder or neck strain. About the only negative thing I could say is that if you put a water bottle in the mesh pocket, it great reduces anything you could put in the insulated pocket. I looked at about 10 other bags between ones I had ordered from Amazon and checked out in stores and this is by far the best one.
Customer Review: This is my first SwissGear bag, and I have to say that I’m impressed. For decades, I’ve used a few packs from other vendors, both “professional” bags and “sports” packs that had laptop pockets. I’ve often found those other packs to be merely sufficient, but not check all the boxes that I’d like to see. But, I didn’t think anyone made the perfect bag, so accepting mediocre products was my fate.Fast forward to now, I wanted to replace my well-worn pack (over 1M travel miles on it!) with something that was small, durable, and which had sufficient dedicated storage space for the smaller items I need to carry in addition to my MacBook Pro and iPad. After searching for a few weeks, I came back to this pack, which was on sale for a fantastic price, and decided to give it a try with the thought that if it didn’t work out, I could just donate the thing. To my surprise, this pack is absolutely perfect and meets or exceeds all of my expectations. The pack has plenty of little pockets to hold the bits and pieces, but ample storage room for books, a light jacket, etc. Also, an armored glasses pocket and a really cool side-load sleeve for shoes or jackets. There is a place for everything, and I’m putting everything it its place. The pack is quite light but with the 600 denier nylon construction and it just oozes of durability and quality, I’m expecting that this thing will last for at least a decade. Plus, this pack holds its shape and is a joy to use and to look at, unlike the bag (from a well-known Swedish company) that it is replacing which was permanently crumpled and difficult to put on and use, and was quite void of the little organizing pockets I value. As my first SwissGear bag, I’m completely stoked with this purchase and now regret not having looked at these bags or this brand earlier. Now that I’m enlightened, I’m going to explore more of the SwissGear products to see what else they have that might be of value to me and my family. Recommended without any hesitation.

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: I was looking for a backpack that wouldn’t break the bank, but would still be of decent quality and have lots of organization and good padding, especially on the straps and the back. Now to be honest I’ know the saying you get what you pay for. To a point that can be true because I purchased two backpacks that cost around 25.00 for one and the other was thirty give or take. They were both horrible. One of them ripped inside on the seam the first week and the other was too flimsy and felt cheap. Now getting to the point…I read the other reviews about this backpack and honestly was surprised that most of them for the price point were good. So I bought one in black, the smaller one that is 25 liters. It is of very good quality and the padding is very good! The straps are wide and comfortable and the back padding is distributed very well. There are many pockets with well thought out organization. I pack the bag very full mainly using it for work. Surprisingly when it is fully packed it feels light on my back. I would definitely recommend this bag to everyone that is not a label whore!
Customer Review: Amazing backpack, since I’m always on the move, I bring various things with the backpack. It is able to fit my 16-inch laptop, while also being able to fit a PS5 as well. There is a back pocket near the bottom, hidden yet easily accessible for keys and other necessities. As well as a pocket inside one of the main ones that has a zipper, where you can stash your wallet and other important items. It is very comfortable, even with all my items in it, and it won’t hang low, so it won’t cause any pain. The weight is perfect for a travel backpack, as I was able to walk around various places in the Philippines in it. I recommend this backpack for people who care about a sleek look, but also being able to carry many things inside it.

Cons:

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: Comfort: it’s okay, not the best. The back padding is a little thin and the straps aren’t the best. If you put your laptop and tech gear in a little sloppily, you’ll feel it on your back.Laptop/tech space: Good enough. Large pouches good to hold 2 laptops/tablets. Has one bag area for putting smaller things, but I wouldn’t mind another pouch/bag or two in the tech area.Outer space: The outer space is decent and expands to a good size. Easily enough room for me to pack a few days of clothes. I like how you can access this space from the outside or from the tech side.Function: The full unfolding feature is great! You can open up the backpack like a clamshell and have full easy access to everything in the bag. I also like the “security” pocket that isn’t easily pick pocketable. One downer is the bag doesn’t stand up on its own. Even when fully packed and expanded it want to rollover on its back.Price: Good deal. I was looking at bags twice this price and couldn’t quite find all the feature I wanted. This came pretty close and it wasn’t an arm and a leg.
Customer Review: I recently traveled from the Big Island of Hawaii to Sedona, and since I didn’t want to check in any luggage, I decided to travel with just my carry-on suitcase and this backpack that I ordered. In conclusion, I really like this backpack. When packing, it opens wide like a duffel bag, which made it easy to organize my things. There’s another compartment where I could safely store my laptop. I was able to fit quite a lot of clothes inside. It got heavy when fully packed, but once I fastened the chest strap, it felt much more comfortable to carry. The size was perfect for a carry-on and fit easily under the seat in front of me, so I didn’t even need to use the overhead bin. After getting off the plane, I could slide the backpack over the handle of my carry-on suitcase using the pass-through strap, which was really convenient. It also has a side handle, so I could carry it like a duffel bag if I wanted. In Sedona, I used it for hiking—it was great for carrying my camera, jacket, snacks, and lunch. I thought it might be a little big at first, but the external buckles and straps allowed me to adjust the size and make it more compact.I’m really glad I bought this backpack. I chose the black one, and I love the design—it looks really stylish. Next year, I plan to travel to California, and I’ll definitely bring this backpack again along with my carry-on suitcase. I don’t want to pay extra to check in luggage anymore!

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: Very durable, well built backpack. I bought it for my husband who needed a travel backpack for work and leisure. The pockets are well thought out and functional. It’s big enough for 2-3 days worth of clothes. Straps are comfortable. I almost like it more than my own work backpack (Aer city pro 2). Definitely worth the cost. The luggage strap is vertically placed so you have to place it horizontally, that’s probably me only pet peeve with this backpack. We’re going to take it on our international trip this year so it’ll be thoroughly tested.
Customer Review: I’ve spent a long time looking for a backpack that doesn’t make me choose between protecting my tech and having enough room for a change of clothes. After using the tomtoc 32L Large Business Bag for a few weeks, I think I’ve finally found my “Goldilocks” bag. It’s professional enough for the boardroom but rugged enough for a frantic dash through an airport. What I Love (The Pros)• Peace of Mind for My Tech: The first thing I noticed was the laptop compartment. As someone who carries a 16-inch laptop, I’m usually paranoid about the corners getting bumped. tomtoc uses this “CornerArmor” padding that feels like a literal bumper for your computer. It’s the best protection I’ve seen in a bag this size.• Organization That Makes Sense: I’m a bit of a stickler for organization. The front “admin” panel is brilliant—I have a specific spot for my mouse, my portable SSD, and my pens. I no longer have to fish around at the bottom of a dark bag for my charging brick.• The “huge” Capacity: This is where the 32L volume really shines. On a recent two-day trip, I managed to pack a pair of spare shoes, two outfits, and my toiletry kit in the main compartment, and the bag still zipped up without looking like it was about to burst. I also carry few lunch and snack boxes on my daily commute to work. This bag can carry it all.• Built Like a Tank: You can feel the quality in the materials. The zippers are YKK (very smooth, no snagging), and the fabric has that heavy-duty, water-resistant feel. I got caught in a light drizzle last week, and the water just beaded right off.The Reality Check (The Cons)• It’s a Big Bag: I’m about 6 feet height fits me week. For a person with average height, this bag will definitely take up their entire back. If you’re looking for something slim and “low profile” for a quick trip to a coffee shop, this might feel like overkill. It’s a workhorse, not a minimalist daypack.• Weight Matters: Because the padding is so thick and the materials are so durable, the bag has some weight to it before you even put your laptop in. If you’re sensitive to heavy bags, just be aware that you’re trading lightness for maximum protection.• The Bottle Pocket Squeeze: I usually carry a large 32oz insulated water bottle. When the main compartment is packed full of clothes, the side pocket gets a bit tight. It still works, but it takes a little extra effort to shove the bottle in.The VerdictIf you are a “pro-commuter” who carries a lot to daily commute to work or someone who hates checking luggage for short trips, this bag is a no-brainer. It keeps my gear organized and, more importantly, safe. It’s replaced both my daily work bag and my small carry-on suitcase.
