Customer Review: Best one I had in long time. Two compartment is perfect for daily commute to work with packed lunch electronics headphone case and beverage. Charging port is very handy. Ill note that you need to use the velcro laptop strap or else the hook side will scratch and wear the inner pocket walls. Would be better if they switched sides for the hook and loop patches so the hook side was on the strap. Great fit and size. Very light and good padded shoulder straps. No exterior wear so far. Travel strap works well on luggage handles. Would buy again.

Customer Review: WOW! This is an absolutely FANTASTIC bag. I had never heard of Everki before, and certainly not the Atlas backpack. However, on a recent flight (as a traveling consultant, planes are my second home), I happened to be standing behind a guy with an Everki pack. As a long-time Arcteryx fan — smart, bomb-proof packs with great styling — I admired the pack this gent was wearing as it looked just as solid as my beloved Arcteryx Blade 24.Fast forward a few months, and I find myself in a situation where I need to commute with two separate laptops. As much as I love the Arcteryx Blade, it just wasn’t big enough to accommodate two laptops and all of the sundry gear that goes with them. So, I did some quick searches out on the interwebs for a purpose-built, multi-computer bag, and Everki kept coming up, and with high ratings. So, with some fresh travel coming up, I decided that now was the time to take the plunge and give the Atlas a try. I just received the bag a couple of days ago.I had high expectations of the Everki (having seen one in the wild before), but I was absolutely blown away by the build quality of the Atlas. This thing is industrial and built to take a beating. You can just feel the quality on this thing. Top quality materials are used in its construction, and there is heavy use of Cordura, parachute material, rivets, and heavy stitching. The zippers are large — kind of similar to the oversized zippers used on Ogio bags — and they open and close without a hint of snagging. Like my beloved Arcteryx, I wasn’t able to find a single loose stitch or fray, and the attention to detail, fit, and finish is obvious from the moment you heft it. I say that because this is not a light bag. It is designed to carry a lot of equipment, and to do so safely.But the real surprise was just how well laid-out this bag is with a simply ridiculous amount of pockets and storage. I was able to fit both the 15″ MacBook Pro and my Dell 15″, along with two satchels, each with power bricks, cords, etc., AS WELL AS my Epson projector AND two O’Reilly reference books. And I still had room for extra power strips, international power converter, and even my sunglasses case. And there is extra room to spare. I am a huge fan of minimalist solutions, which is why the Arcteryx appealed so much to me. And, despite the crazy amount of pockets and storage space in the Atlas, it is so well designed that all of it doesn’t seem excessive, and it still has a general feeling of minimalism and still maintains a reasonably small profile when all zipped up.I spend a great deal of time and perform a great deal of research on gear that I purchase as I like to make the purchase only once. I buy only the highest quality gear that I can afford, regardless of the price, and I have very high expectations for products that I’ve purchased. I can say unequivocally that the Everki Atlas has far exceed my expectations in all regards. One thing I really appreciated about the bag on these trips were the very wide and well-designed shoulder straps. I also appreciate that the bag is designed to stand on its own, which makes loading and unloading very easy. I remain so very thrilled with this purchase. Also, absolutely no problems with the bag as of this time — no sticking zippers, no unraveling threads or stitches, or anything of the sort. I think I’ve finally found, “The One”. As an entrepreneur, I was looking for an upgrade that could be fashionable, yet practical for a variety of working locations.This backpack is sturdy. It can stand up with very little or nothing inside of it due to the firmer exterior. The zippers, stitching, padding, handle and straps are well constructed. The overall backpack would make a great personal item while traveling. It is comfortable and not bulky. Overall, my Dell XPS15 and mobile accessories fit nicely with my planner and calendar with room to spare. I love all the pockets and slots to stay organized. My Owala Free Sip Sway fits nicely in the side pocket with no issues. For a higher end backpack, it appears to be worth the investment.I cannot wait to see how this bag holds up a digital nomad!

He had previously been using his Mountain Hardwear Camp4 28 as his EDC but recently took a remote position that requires occasional airline travel. While the MH bag is a good bag for an EDC, it isn’t designed for business travel.He researches EVERYTHING… ad nauseam. He chose this backpack based upon features, appearance, brand AND the discounted price during Amazon Prime Days.With the intended use as a personal item on US flights, he was able to pack this backpack with his 15.6″ laptop, extra 16″ monitor, all the cables and power bricks that accompany them, a travel keyboard and mouse, as well as 2 phones, battery bank, notebook and in-flight entertainment including his noise cancelling over the ear headphones, tablet, airfly (Bluetooth gizmo). He was also able to pack a change of clothes in case his carry-on gets gate checked and then lost (it’s entirely possible). He loves the small zipper pocket with a hard interior case in which he keeps his eyeglasses (backup to contacts), 2 pair of readers and a microfiber cloth.Yes, this all fit in the backpack which in turn fit under the airline seat.The material is rugged and looks like it will take a beating. The zippers (unknown if YKK) are solid and hefty with the Swiss Gear emblem… they feel like quality zippers. The zippers are also large enough to accept an S-hook to lock the zippers together to help prevent pick pocketing.The trolly sleeve is also better than the average trolly sleeve. It is not the normal thin strap you get on other packs. The backing is contoured and padded for cool comfort if not wearing as a sling.There are 2 padded mesh external pockets that will fit his well used Pogo 32 oz water bottle.My husband is a gear snob and he wants quality in his products. Now to be honest I’ know the saying you get what you pay for. To a point that can be true because I purchased two backpacks that cost around 25.00 for one and the other was thirty give or take. They were both horrible. One of them ripped inside on the seam the first week and the other was too flimsy and felt cheap. So I bought one in black, the smaller one that is 25 liters. It is of very good quality and the padding is very good! The straps are wide and comfortable and the back padding is distributed very well. There are many pockets with well thought out organization. I pack the bag very full mainly using it for work. Surprisingly when it is fully packed it feels light on my back. I would definitely recommend this bag to everyone that is not a label whore!
