I ordered this for my husband at his request, 2 days before his flight, so he didn’t have to check a bag. Not only did it come the next day as promised, it was tightly packed in thick plastic to keep it protected for delivery. He went away for a 5 day golf trip with his buddies and managed to get all of his clothing, golf shoes and toiletry bag in this backpack carry-on, because it expands about another 2 inches. Even expanded, he said it fit perfectly in the overhead bin. It also has a built in cord for cell phone use, so no need to hope a charging station is open at the gate.
