Customer Review: I purchased the Case Logic DLBP-114 backpack after a couple nights of web research while watching TV. I was looking for a bag that would give a somewhat professional look (I know, sometimes at a certain point a backpack for a working adult can only look so professional). I had been using a messenger bag but I wanted to be able to disperse weight over both shoulders and not have a bag that banged against my leg when I walked. Things I looked for in a backpack:- Professional look (no bright color or loud pattern)- Smaller footprint (I’m not a student looking to carry books and lunch)- Price ($25-35 range)- Good style I have had the bag just over a month and I am really loving the backpack. I got it for just under $24 so the price was right. The black color is great and the touch of red isn’t too loud (being in Lincoln, Nebraska, red is quite popular so it works even in a professional environment for most people). I like the cosmetic cross stitching on the front pocket, it gives a nice look and breaks it up versus an all flat look. For me (6’1″ male) the backpack is comfortable and the straps sit well. I love the addition of built in Velcro straps to wrangle in the excess strap length. The smaller footprint is the biggest selling point on the bag for me. It is only about 7 inches deep (as in the space from your back out horizontally while wearing it) but has plenty of space. So many backpacks stick out far and make you look like a student or like you are going on a trek. Also the bigger the bag gets the more I fill it, adding weight. I keep a 13″ Macbook Air, iPad Mini, Jambox speaker, Nintendo 2ds, 5 pens/pencils, 4 small gadget bags (chargers, usb drives, adapters), a notebook, keys, wallet, gum, chap-stick and always have a bit more space for other random things. The laptop portion has ok protection. I am considering buying another one to keep in storage for a couple years from now as a replacement since I use the bag five days a week at a minimum. It’s an amazing bag and I would suggest it to anyone looking for a smaller backpack that still has a couple organizational pockets in it.

Customer Review: I use this for my macbook pro. I like that it has the padded section within the main compartment. In the main compartment, I also keep a large external power bank (anker 735, look it up to see the size), a bottle of water (sealed of course), and a bag that contains accessories for my macbook, headphones, wires, etc. In the front zipper compartment, I keep a couple packs of tissues, snacks sometimes, and sometimes a small toiletry bag if I’m staying overnight somewhere. In the little zipper compartment which is in the front zipper compartment, kind of hidden, I keep my three wallet sized power banks, (I know, that’s a lot of external power, but I need to be prepared for anything when riding mobility link), and a spare set of earbuds. Then in the small outer zipper compartment on the top, I keep a chapstick and any other miscellaneous odds and ends that I want quick access to. I keep my android media player in one of the small zip side pockets. My only gripe about this backpack is it doesn’t have a water bottle compartment, and the material on the inside of the top small compartment is kind of fleece lined, and uncomfortable on sensitive skin. Overall, this is a great backpack, and holds a ton, believe me, I load test these things, lol.

Customer Review: I purchased this a year ago and am back for a different color. This is a great little bag! Lots of pockets and plenty of places to stash things. The middle section is roomy, enough for a small plastic makeup bag plus my power bank. The back slot is perfect for a small iPad or Kindle. I keep my phone (iPhone Pro Max with case) either in the front zip pocket or the slots on the side (those are tight, so I find they work better for glasses). This is a very well made case, too. Quality fabric with lining, and it is stitched well. So far I’ve not had any issue with zippers or fabric, and this serves as my primary purse (though I do swap out occasionally for a change). It would make a great personal item for travel and could be used for all sorts of purposes besides a purse (diaper bag, medical supplies). I definitely recommend it! Pretty colors too on this one. It is a such a cute bag and I get plenty of compliments.

Customer Review: This is perfect. It’s compact yet has different pockets and compartments that are amazing for organizing your things. I may be the odd one that doesn’t want a USB charging port thing in the backpack, which most of them out there have now. There is a version of this bag that has the port and there is a version that doesn’t have the port. I got the one without. I’m picky about side pockets on the outside of the bag that are meant to put bottles into – a lot of bags out there you can barely fit a slim bottle into it.. However, this one has the elasticized expanding side pockets on the outside, which is great, I was able to fit a wider bottle into it. Most bags out there are made for 15.6 inch laptops or larger. There isn’t as much of a variety of bags that are a little bit smaller. I wanted something a little bit more compact for travel to use as a personal item as well as to use while being out and about going on day trips going to a café with my laptop to work, etc. Most of those bags out there that are labeled as travel backpacks that fit “15.6” inch laptops in terms of their dimensions they tend to be a little bit on the larger side and while it’s probably fine for most airlines, there may be airlines that it might be a little bit too big for to be a personal underseat item unless they’re very flexible and squishy. I wanted something a little bit more compact that would definitely fit all airlines personal item dimensions. Also, my laptop is not that large, so it doesn’t need that big of a laptop compartment. My laptop measures 12.75 inches by 9 inches (the screen horizontally is 15.25 inches), it fits perfectly in this. It seems quality made, and the material is waterproof and would be very easy to wipe down and clean. I also love that the buckles on this aren’t black. I got the beige and khaki color in the 14” size, and the buckles match the bag.

Customer Review: Many reviews of this backpack, which I’ve had for nearly 2 years now, state that the bottle holder cannot hold a reasonable (or sometimes any) sized bottle. Included in my pictures you can see that it can indeed hold at least a couple of simple plastic bottles including a 12 ounce BAI tea bottle and a 17 ounce ICE drink bottle. Buy one, wash & reuse. This pouch can be used for ID badges, car keys (a large key ring would fit), several pens or mechanical pencils as well. I believe the Kensington Triple Trek is intended as a commuter backpack primarily for those needing to transport laptops and related gear, I find the 2 bottle sizes suitable. I can make it through a 2 hour meeting with either one, and simply refill before the next meeting or task. The backpack with its main section loaded measures about 4 inches deep at the bottom and 2 inches at the top. Another inch or so would protrude if the front pockets were stuffed. I took a couple stars off since I don’t believe this one is really that “waterproof” but likely water resistant. Due to its slim size, many people could simply carry a rain jacket within the backpack and put it on when needed OVER the backpack, should rain come. It’s quite professional looking with the brand badge and matching zipper pull are all silver-gunmetal in color. As some have mentioned, the zipper pulls CAN get caught and hung up at odd angles but this only takes a half-second to correct when needed before pulling on the zipper. Another of my photos shows my 14.1 screen sized HP Elitebook laptop. Note the amount of space afforded between the top of the laptop and the top of the backpack. AND, this is with the laptop sitting on top of a 1/2 inch high solid foam piece that I have in the bottom of the laptop slot for additional “drop protection”. The flexible velcro strap keeps the laptop in firmly and such straps are getting more rare. In another photo I display the laptop, plus a full sized mousepad in the tablet sleeve (provided additional laptop protection since I don’t often use a tablet computer, and a full-sized 1-inch 3 ring binder. Still this section is not completely full. Note: a 1-inch D-ring style binder WILL also fit in between the laptop and tablet storage sections. Included photos show that both my 14.1 screen HP and, a Microsoft Surface Pro 4 will fit together along with a D-ring 1-inch binder between them, OR, with the laptop and Surface together in the same laptop section, still secured by the velcro strap (it’s long enough). Did I mention that the Surface has it’s “Type Cover” attached? Keeping the rectangular shape of the backpack from top to bottom makes this all possible. Kensington didn’t narrow the top of the backpack so much that it would prevent this much lengthwise storage of paperwork and devices. Carrying all 3 of these along with associated charger cables, bricks, mice and such would likely bring the total to over 10 pounds of course! I’m saying the backpack can do it, not that you should… The top front pocket is softly lined like the laptop and tablet sleeves are and measures 6.75 inches deep of usable space by 8 inches across. The bottom front pocket, with 2 pen/pencil slots, a key keeper, a covered slide in pocket (that holds my iphone 13-mini in an otterbox case, and another such slide in pocket with mesh so you can see what’s in it, along with additional storage under these pockets and pen & key holders. In total, it measures 7.5 inches wide of usable space and 9 inches depth-wise. I feel that Kensington really maximize the amount of usable space in this smaller and very versatile backpack. Customer Review: This is a great little bag. I have enough room for a 13.3″ Toshiba chromebook (CB35) and its charger. The charger bulges a bit. When I first got it it was a little stiff, but now that I’ve carried it around for a month or so it has relaxed and will carry more than it did. I looked long and hard for a mobile setup that would let me do software development, but that I could carry without it being a pain. This lets me do that, and it’s minimalist for that compared to what I used to carry. But I have been known to get carried away with the whole EDC concept. I’m 6’5″ and weigh around 300 pounds. This bag is small enough that I look a little silly carrying it as a backpack. Then again I make a fairly large motorcycle look small as well. If you are more normal sized it probably won’t be an issue. To give you some idea of the size, here is what I carry: Hidden pocket – Gerber multitool with socket addon. It carried my large-sized wallet easily, but I worried about it falling out on my motorcycle so moved it to the tablet pocket. Computer pocket – chromebook. And this computer pocket has something I’ve not seen in a computer bag – protection from the floor. It does this in two ways: the pocket is sewn so that it sits off of the bottom of the bag. Small items in the main compartment can actually sit underneath the computer. And the bottom (and back) of the bag itself is well padded. I don’t worry about needing a protective case for my chromebook at all. The chromebook fits perfectly into the pocket, but it couldn’t be any wider (by which I mean the front to the back of the computer while using it). Front pocket used to have a 9″ Nook HD+, but that was more weight than I liked – it now carries a wallet and reading glasses case. Between tablet and computer pocket – chromebook charger and trauma tape. There’s room for quite a bit more in this space. I put my smartphone in here when I’m riding. Outside top pocket – asthma inhaler, change, eye drops and a medication bottle, thumb drives. This pocket gets bigger with time as the case gets more flexible, which is kind of cool. It has a very soft lining, you could keep eyeglasses in here without a case if there were nothing else in the pocket to scratch them. Outside bottom pocket – I have car keys, a 4g modem, small EKG (about the size of a smartphone, but thicker, in a bag with extra stuff) and… oh, hey, there’s that other asthma inhaler I lost. There’s still room for more. Water bottle holder – I use this to hold sunglasses. Pros: It’s small. Small enough that you don’t mind carrying it and it isn’t painful to do so. It’s very well constructed, not as well as a maxpedition bag, but nicely done. It seems to resist water fairly well, but you probably would want a cover if you were in a rainstorm on a motorcycle. Also, it fits nicely on the sissy bar of my motorcycle with a bungie cord to hold it on. The reflective striping is nice. Cons: It’s small. I don’t mean that it’s tiny or “too” small. If you’ve read a lot of reviews you have a good idea of the size. This is no 3-day pack. To summarize, this is perfectly sized for every day computer carry. It allows you to carry a computer and just enough other “stuff” that you can’t make it too heavy. I am able to always have my developer tools with me so that I can work opportunistically. That’s what I needed, and this fits the bill perfectly. I have zero doubts about giving this five stars.

Customer Review: I’m a full time student so I use this backpack at least 30 hours each week during the spring and fall semesters and it’s been holding up great so far. I’ve used it in total for a few months now. I really like how everything is compartmentalized, I don’t have problems looking for anything small. I also really like the padding for my laptop. My favorite thing about this bag and the suspended straps. I had a jansport before and it was great and I still like it but it kills my back having on for a long period. This bag doesn’t give me that problem, it almost feels weightless. I only have one complaint, it’s a little awkward getting wide binders out of the bag. The bag is wide at the bottom and slim at the top so yes it can hold wide binders but the corners of your binder will always catch the top of the back pack as you’re pulling it out. I know it’s a “mini” but still something to think about if you have a lot of wide binders. Overall, it’s a great bag and I’ll probably stick with Swiss if the rest of their products are this good.

I have to say this SwissGear has many more features:- It is really sturdy- Has strong, comfortable straps- Vented padding for your back- Fits my 14″ Mac including its case and has an easy to use strap to restrain it- Plenty of room and a variety of compartments- Two mesh water bottle pockets- Compression straps and, wait for it,- A trolley strap for your roller bag! Best of all it is not overly large. This is great day-to-day bag for your PC/Mac and really designed for traveling, it will easily fit in front of your seat on the airplane. Customer Review: I just took it on its maiden voyage, and so far I absolutely love it! I searched far and wide for a backpack with several interior zipping pockets and this fits the bill. So far I would say it’s: Well made, Good metal zippers, Thoughtful designed, Seemingly sturdy materials, Has useful and convenient features. A funny thing – material is designed to be water resistant both inside and out. Consequently, the exterior is a slick material. On my flight I stored it under the seat in front of me. When we took off the pack slid out from under the seat to my feet. LOL – I wasn’t expecting that, and it cracked me up! A minor repositioning insured it stayed under the seat. My caveat for this review is that I’ve only traveled with it once. I don’t know how true these statements will be in the long run, but I hope they ring true. I have scoured Amazon for the features I wanted in a pack, basic conveniences like a charging port, zippered interior pockets, anti-theft pocket, water resistant material, roomy interior, external easy access pockets, hanging loop and padded straps. It hit all marks.! Bonus is the availability of multiple color combinations so it’s easily recognizable. The only “wish” it didn’t fulfill is an exterior sunglasses hook. I recommend the pack to anyone looking for these attributes in an attractive package!!

Customer Review: If you’re looking for a small, sleek, compact backpack, get this one! I love it. It’s compact but still has enough room for my laptop, lunch box, and a few notebooks. The side pockets do not expand, so you need a pretty slim water bottle if you want one to fit in those side pockets. I end up just putting my bottle inside. Note that there’s no padding for the back, so any lumpy things you put inside the bag, you will feel it on your back. For that reason, the pocket on the outer backside is pretty useless for me.

It’s nice and compact but has plenty of storage space.
